Masterpieces of the Deutsches Museum
	The route that takes our visitors past the museum's exhibits is almost 20 km long. Who is able to cover it all on a single day? The curators of the Deutsches Museum have selected just a few "masterpieces" for those who are visiting us for the first time or who wish to drop in and have a glance around. Fishing wherry   Diesel engine   S 3/6 steam locomotive   Fraunhofer refractor   Scanning tunnelling microscope   Experimental X-ray apparatus   F13 commercial aeroplane   Jacquard loom   Helios space probe   Enigma cipher machine   Experimental television apparatus   Mechanical trumpet player   Some of these "masterpieces" are also exhibited from time to time in our branch museum in Bonn. A small catalogue, "Masterworks from the Deutsches Museum", has been published detailing these exhibits.
